Complaint Review: Dell

Dell-micheal Flores put wrong info when getting card then told me to buy 2 same things saying the did two seperate things. then refused an item and he put it on bill anyway. wont let me return Austin, Texas

I called in december of 08 and needed to get my computer fixed. My warrenty was up on my computer. Our internet service is through my mother. I told them it was her daughter. I decided to get the year warrenty so that i could get my computer fixed. he asked if i wanted to apply for a dell card. I said ok.

I gave him all of my information and he gave me a 2000 limit card. I made sure to tell him it was alexandria not susan. It was all my information not my mothers how could they confuse that?

Then he went on to ask if i had a security system in my computer. I said no i didnt. He told me about norton and i said sure. I do not know alot about computers and what i would need. THen he also told me about spywere and said it would be good to have both norton and spywere. so i said sure.

Then he asked me about a external hard drive and I said absolutly NO! He gave me his name and number incase I had any problems. I recieved a letter in the mail and he had put the card in my mothers name anyway..how can they confuse a 45 yrs old woman and a 22 yrs old??

I called him for about two weeks straight and did not get a response from him. I called customer service and they were able to put my name on. although i still believe they have my mothers name on the card when i said take it off.

THen i was experiences problems that my computer was having with viruses. I called them and had had both anti virus cds installed. They said that was why i was having problems. so they charged me for that and fixed my computer after bout 6 hours on phone by my computer just waiting..And on top of that next week had same problem it was saying that my anti virus wasnt working and that they needed to fix it and would charge me again. I said no. then they tried to tell me that it would only charge one for this and one for that like i wouldnt notice the extra charge. In the end they only charged me once cause it was the same problem as week before.

I tried to call mr. Flores when i recieved the mail because I had recieved the external usb harddrive. Unfortunatly i have recently in last year an half had heart transplant and have been in and out of hospital and have two children as well and am in school on line.

I called them to tell them I never wanted this i didnt order it the man put it on my order when i said no. THey said there was nothing they could do because it was past 21 days of return. I have had nothing but problems with them and wrong doing and have a medical reason as to why i hadnt called. the usb has been taken out of the box it was delivered in and NEVER taken out of actual box. I told them i would not pay for that or the fees attached to it. I did not want it. Did not order it.

they said that there was nothing they could do and i would need to pay it or they would keep sending me notices. I replyed so i either pay for something i didnt order specifically said no to or i screw up my credit all he had to say was that he had no comment for that. and that was the manager. I asked to speak with someone highier then him and he said there was no one above him.
