Complaint Review: Dell

Dell rebate ripoff Did not send $150 rebate even after sending faxes and e-mail inquiries Nationwide

I purchased a Dell computer for my children in August of 2003. I was interested in the $150. rebate, and thought it was a fair deal.

However, I never received the $150. When I checked the status of my rebate on their web site, it said that I "did not send sufficient paper work to them".

This was a lie, as I went to my husbands office to photo copy the packing slip before mailing it to them! After sending my complaint to them via e-mail, they asked me to fax the packing slip. Which I did. Still nothing!!!

Go to the top, send a HAND-WRITTEN letter directly to Michael Dell explaining your problem

I would try sending a HAND-WRITTEN letter directly to Michael Dell explaining your problem. Be as polite and concise as possible. I had a problem with them for months. I wrote to him and 2 weeks later the problem was history. Hope this helps.

His address is:
