dell ripoff selling what they don't have Internet Worldwide
Buy a dvd burner from dell, shows 1-2 weeks. Once the order is through, the estimated date is two months! My 10/17 order is now due on 12/20.
I've read about others experiencing them playing with dates. I can almost understand from the point of building systems, but these are not systems.
The dell site is much worse than I realized, and there is no way to cancel online, I think you must call. No response to my email.
I suspect it's mainly incompetence, but that doesn't dismiss it as not being a ripoff and something you should avoid. Don't ask me why I ordered from them after reading similar stories!
