Nver do business with Dell AGAIN!! What horrible customer service and over all neglect by this company. My order and experience went from bad to worst!!! I will start from the begining so you can see what a mess this company is.

My lap top was supposed to come with a free printer. After recieivng my laptop the printer didnt show. I called to check on this and was told it is backordered. A week went by so I called back and was told it had been cancelled becuase it was over a week old and they didnt think I wanted it anymore. Why would I not want my free printer? I was told they would fix the problem and resend the printer. A week and two more phone calls the same as the last went by and still no printer. I talked to a different CSr and was told it was cancelled again and there was nothing they could do since the speical had passed. AFter spending hours on phone I finally found a supervisor that told me he would give me a $70 coupon to use on a printer.

I thought I had finally found someone to help me but when I went to order the printer I was told that I would have to spend at least 70.01 for the coupon to take affect. What is this?? I have to take money out of my pocket for something I should have had for free. What an out rage.
This is where it gets worst. At the same time my new laptop had begun to have serious problems. This is two weeks since I got it. From the very beginign the start up and shut down time were very long and continued to get worst. Some basic programs such as windows media player and microsoft works didnt run at all.

Instead of trying to fix this I decided to just return it and not deal with Dell anymore. I called and set up the return and was told a 15% return charge would be added. I debated this for a little while trying to explain the frustration due to customer support I have had and didnt want to trya nd fix it. Reluctantly I finally decided to take the 15% hit and get it over with.

A month went by and I called to chck on my return and found out that they shorted me $250 off my return. I had now got just over half off what the computer had originally cost me back. A waste of $300. The supervisor tried to tell me it was some warranty issue. I told them that I had previously been quoted and gaurunteed an exact amount to be credited. He didnt care and said he coulc do nothing about it.

I have since put a hold on payment throught my credit card and contacted the BBB. I will keep everyone informed if anything happens. Lets just say Im not holding my breath!

DONT BUY DELL!!!

Dell also owes me about $240,000 in sales commission & I can't get a penny of it and its been almost a year. See report dated 12/19/05 rebutal for my details. Get back with your original sales rep and find out who his immediate Manager is. Get with that Manager, don't transfer, stay with him,get his personal phone number and email. This Manager can get anything back you need without going all around Dell. Let them do the leg work and get your refund for you. I would love to help you get your refund if I still worked there. Good Luck.
