Complaint Review: DELTA AIRLINES

Like when 100+ people board a plane and the technician realizes there is a problem with the engine, instead of getting those people off the plane and putting them on another (potentially making them late for take off and then for arrival), they should just take off on time and hope it works out for the best. I mean, how often to plane's faulty engines break down in mid flight, after all?

Or like when those pesky control tower tyrants tell them they have to wait because it isn't their turn to take off, they should just go anyway, right? I mean that other plane will just get out of the way, don't worry.

Or when the weather gets really bad suddenly, they should just maintain speed and not adjust to a "safer" speed. I mean, weather never causes a plane to hurdle to the ground.

Now, the luggage thing is ridiculous, but I always fly Delta and have never lost any luggage. I know a lot of people have, but a lot of people haven't. Plus, I carry everything on when I can. I hate checking luggage. Just more time spent at the airport.

As for arriving late, budget your time so it wont be a problem. If you are missing a connection, you should be making sure you have 1+ hours between domestic flights and 2+ hours between international flights. This provides a nice cushion to cover being a bit late, plus getting off the plane(which can take some time) and getting to your next gate.

I stand by this rule and have NEVER missed a flight, except when it was a very late takeoff (high fog at the airport...no one left, and i, personally am VERY GLAD.)

And NO I do not work for an airline. I just fly 20+ times a year round trip.
