Delta Airlines Lost Luggage Northern Kentucky
Delta airlines has lost my bag for more than 2 days, they cannot find it. They never call or change the status and send you to india to speak with a customer service rep.
WHY CAN'T THEY JUST GO OUT OF BUSINESS AND LET OTHER AIRLINES PICK UP THEIR ROUTES, THEY ARE TOTALLY INCOMPETANT

Delta employee's do not count
#3Author of original report

I am a real Delta platinum member, unlike this delta employee that has responded to my first post. Most of my platinum colleagues know better than to check their baggage because of consistant misplacement issues. I was simply stating that Delta continues to lose luggage and take an extraordinary amount of time to find it. I was talking about misplaced, not completely!! This is typical spin by a delta employee that is trying to save their job!!!

Incompetent? Here are the facts
#3Consumer Suggestion
Tue, September 12, 2006
Per the latest (Sept 2006) DOT report, Delta enplaned 6,000,000 passengers in July 2006. There were 6.61 mishandled baggage reports filed for every 1,000 passengers. And this includes lost, late, damaged, etc., luggage. In other words, it covers everything.
So, if my math is correct, that's a failure rate of .00661. or a success rate of 99.994. I have no idea what line of work you're in, but I'll bet my stock options that you are orders of magnitude away from Delta's batting average. Incompetent? Hardly.
Count me in as a very satisfied Delta Platinum customer.
