Rip-Off off of Disability Benefits from Delta Airlines
I was severely injured as a Flight Attendant on an aircraft saving a passenger from injury, now requiring monthly visits to the Dr.for life taking 3 pain medications at a time several times a day, over 30,000 miles in DR. visits thus far & currently in a great of pain.I received short term disability, however denied long term disbility after wc was settled and determined that I could not return to work,I was asked to resign & have not received disability benefits for 13 years now.My family has truly suffered as I am a single parent trying to send a child to college with just my SSI disability benefit which is half of what I should be receiving.

I was trained to save the passengers first and did just that, however I was left suffering for the last 13 years as a good semaritan unable to return to work.I was always rated an excellent employee in all areas,so you see it can happen to you so get yourself x-tra coverage thru another Co. for coverage on a dangerous job with no good coverage for it's "FAMILY MEMBERS".
