Complaint Review: Delta Auto Protect

Delta Auto Protect Agree don’t to pay $150.00 of Auto Repair, but never did. No return phone calls to either myself or Auto dealership Philadelphia PEnnsylvania

purchased a warranty package through Delta Auto Protect on a used vehicle 03/15/18. contract took effect 04/18/18. Engine light came on So I Went to the dealership on 07/20/18 with the vehicle. It was discovered that the problem was a ‘purge valve’. On 07/20/18, no representative of Delta Auto Protect would take our calls, nor return our calls. The dealership was not going to release my vehicle back to me without payment, EVEN THOUGH the purge valve had not been fixed. I paid for the diagnostic portion Of the bill and took my car to work.  On 07/23/18, Delta Auto Protect AUTHORIZED  a reimbursement amount of $150.00 in ‘good faith’ since it took them 48 Hours to get back to us (I and the Dealership). Delta Auto Protect promised an electronic check to the dealership but none was ever received.  On 07/24/18, i returned to the dealership to repair the Purge Valve. STILL no payment on 07/24/18. I paid for the full repair myself. Spoke to Delta Auto Protect and was assured that now, the $150.00 would be sent to me. I have received no money. I Repeatedly call Delta Auto Protect, once per week since the date of service and continue to get the run around. One representative calling himself Jack, looked up my bio on LinkedIn, while he was on the phone with me and started reading it out loud to me while he was slurping a Dunkin Donut’s Iced Coffee for 15 seconds into the telephone receiver. When I confronted him on that, he laughed at me and said ‘How did you know?’ This Company is a fraud and they need to be stopped.
