Complaint Review: Delta Moving

I have never dealt with a company like this. I had originally been working with a salesperson Gladis, and she had quoted me with a more well known national moving company-she then switched to Delta Moving, she seemed on top of the game so I went to the company, at that time I could not find any bad press on them (11/2009). That is because they keep changing their name, one person that emailed me about this company found over 20 names they have gone by.  Needless to say my $1800 move turned in to a $3800 move, they picked up my stuff and did not hear from them for 3 weeks, I tried to call them before I left the country for a week, no answer, they then tried to deliver when I was out of the country. They held my belongings hostage until I paid the additional 2000.00. No one was available to meet them as the keep changing the delivery date and I was  still living in another state, over 20 hours away. I had hired someone to meet them but they changed the time multiple times. They charged me a courier fee on both ends, at pick up because I have a long drive and at the delivery, because it was a gated community. 250.00 and 350.00 to rent a u haul and put my boxes on. the u haul on the pick up end cost them 34.95. i saw the bill. Almost every item of furniture was damaged and several items were misssing including a new stainless steel grill still in the box. Since no one was there to greet them, the opened the front door and stacked everything to the ceiling. No furniture was re assembled and no items were carried up stairs. I talked to the driver  "Ronnie"myself and he assured all the boxes were put in the correct place as marked and all furniture assembled. A blatant lie none of this was done. They dumped it in the front door and I had to pay someone else 300.00 to move everyting so my new kitchen could be installed where everything was dumped. they dropped my large screen tv outside my house and it broke into many pieces, my new neighbor witnessed this and said they laughed about it.
The infamous Susan -the office person is a straight out b**ch and very nasty. She said it is your word against ours and she was the extortion person. They have NO customer service. I asked did she have trouble sleeping at night from doing her job, and she said NO, but you should. 
Their claims dept is a joke-I have heard they own the insurance company too, it has been 14 months since my move and they give me once excuse after another. Nothing resolved. No payment.
I could go on and on- no weight slip, the driver assred it was under the alloted weight and then they save it is 2-3x the weight.
