Complaint Review: DeMar Realty & Property Management Services

Demar realty in conjunction with Gulfland mortguage is ripping off home buyers. First Gulfland Mortguage who owns several properties will buy the properties. At first the communication will be good but then they stop giving you information about your house payment. Next they hire Demar Realty for "Property Management" change your mortguage payment to "rent".

The Rip Off Process Of Gulfland Homeowners LLC and DeMar Reality 

It is important that you the home buyer know the process. I will outlay the process below because we are victims of these people. 

1. First they create an ad on Craigslist or some classified. Looks almost too good to be true. {It Is}
2. They get the paperwork together and tell you how they are going to "Sell" you the home for so much down and so much a month. 
3. These homes like the one I got are usually fixer uppers!
4. They give you the paperwork all signed and legal. 
5. A couple years go buy. Since you are buying the home you have to fix it up. Roof repair, water lines, electrical etc all the expenses that come with home ownership. 
6. You invest time and money into the house because its yours right? You have the paperwork to prove it. 
7. By they way they never send you any required updates like current status of the loan etc like real banks do.
8. After years of maintaining the place they hire a shark like "DeMar Realty" that do not recognize that your payments are current and up to date with the mortguage company. 
9. You then come home from work to an eviction notice in the mail. 
10. Now its time to go to court even though you are totally current on yoru payments. 

What You Can Do To Protect Yourself from DeMar Realty and Gulfland Mortguage

Make sure that you save all your paperwork and reciepts. Fortuantly I did but the hassle of going through court really sucks. Why cant people just be honest about what they are offereing?
