We were quoted £875 for a piece of custom furniture at the beginning of October 2017. Delivery was expected for the middle of November with a visit beforehand for final measurements.

After chasing up they came out on 5th December to measure and said to expect deleivery by 22nd December. Delivery was eventually arranged for 18th December. We advised we could would pay by cheque on that date but we would be happy to rearrange for later in the week when we could pay by cash or bank transfer. They then agreed to deliver on 22nd December.

On 19th December they messaged asking for our bank details so they could refund us, stating that the furniture would not be ready before Christmas. Upon questioning further the conversation became very abusive and extremely unproffesional with insults galore! We were planning on ripping them off, My wife must be drunk, my house has been completed to a poor standard (This after they literally only stepped inside the front door of a house that is a work in progress renovation project). They then said that the refund would take up to 28 days.

We've not heard from them since, they ignored messages and calls for a while, then and the contact number and web address no longer worked. We've raised this with the Police and filed a claim with the Small Claims Court but please if you ever have the misfortune to run ito these two, do not part with any money!
