Complaint Review: Denise Higgins

I was looking on craigslist and found a wonderful deal for a four wheeler.  I wrote Denise Higgins and asked if the price could be reduced.  She e-mailed back and said no that she had just gotton a divorce and she needed the money.

So Ebay motor then sent me an invoice stating how I needed to pay Western Union and have the money sent to a representative and then e-mail and fax them when the transations was finished.  Then I got a e-mail from Denise and Ebay motors the I needed to send 800 dollars more for the insurance.

So once again I got to the Western Union spot and mailed out more money.  1600 hundred the first time and 800 this time.  Everyday I was talking to Denise and ebay motors about the ATV.  I am a first time buyer and didn't know what to look for I guess.

Denise even told me that she would go half for the cost of western union fee but, I told her that if the atv was as in good of shape as she says it is that I was getting a really good deal and I would just pay the fee myself and she said oh yes it is in really good condition.

Both individuals told me that the atv would be here on Wed. at 6pm and then it had to change till Thur. at 6pm due to the insurance.  Being delivired by federal express.  No ATV.

So I called ebay motors and told them what was going on and they suggested to me to get ahold of the authorities.  I then called Fedex and asked them if they had a package coming to me or my address and they said no.  This was on Wednesday Feb. 23 was the package didn't come.

So now Feb 24th I have called Fedex again to see if there was a package coming today and once again the lady said no and then she said that there is not a packaged scheduled to come to me for all the days that she could look at.  Not at least for a week.

So I called the police and filed a report on the 24th, they ran the vin # that was given to me and it came back not real.
