I had a question about an item on eBay and Dennis responded but suggested I buy off line as he needed to sell quickly. Early indications on eBay rating were good so I agreed. We settled on the price of a Samsung 10" Portable DVD Player and I sent him $255.00.

Dennis claimed he shipped but after two months of constant incorrect information of shipping mistakes, etc, I have come to the conclusion that he is running a scam. I am pursuing civil and criminal prosecution but need some assistance/guidance.

I would like to thank the Rip Off Report for this report!! This is the second report I have found on this con man. I am also a victim of Dennis Lewis's internet auction fraud scheme, and I have filed a RIP OFF REPORT on him as well, bringing his total to THREE!! (85005, 87410, and 87663) I have referred my complaint on Lewis to the FBI, and also sued him in civil court. These reports should strengthen the authorities' case against this fraudster! Again, many thanks to the RIP OFF REPORT! Please keep up the good work!

Solution ..also a victim of this same con man, the right to sue Mr. Lewis in civil court

I am also a victim of this same con man. If you have not already done so, file a fraud complaint against him at www.ifccfbi.gov. They will notify the appropriate agencies. If you have sent to or received from Mr. Lewis ANY U.S. Mail or postal information, file a mail fraud complaint at www.usps.com. You also have the right to sue Mr. Lewis in civil court. Contact your local district magistrate's office. Also, see reports on this site under Dennis P. Lewis, it is the same guy. I am sorry that you have been victimized, but I am happy to see that other victims of this fraudster are coming forward and taking action! I hope that my advice is helpful.
