Dennis Reinhart Automotive, LLC Took over a year to work on my car, still didn't complete it, and has horrible customer service to top it off! Orange Park, Florida

This letter is just 1 of many complaints with Dennis and Reinhart Automotive LLC. This is the letter I sent to Dennis, which I got a response of "I'll see what I can do, the economy is bad..." 

"Hello Dennis,

After meeting you in Indianapolis to pick up my car, as you know, I was still highly unsatisfied. Weve been going through the process of getting a new motor (and other work) since March 2011.

Until just now, December 2011, I have had an incomplete car from you. Within the last few months, I have taken my car to several places for different problems, which resulted in me taking off work, and paying for parts, labor, and rental cars. I have spoken to you several times about what still wasnt working with my car, and different problems I was experiencing. After having my car with you in Florida for over 6 months and giving you over $29,000, I still had problems with my car. Im writing this letter to tell you I want to be reimbursed for all the things Ive had to pay for since you were supposed to be finished with my car. A copy of these bills will be mailed to you by postal service. I am seeking a reimbursement fee of approximately, $3,500 which includes rental cars for weeks at a time, Ford parts, labor, and diagnostic test, high performance labor, parts, and dyno test. This fee also includes an overnight hotel stay that I had to drive my car to Michigan for some high performance work, a problem I told you about several times.
 
This fee doesnt include the part you recently sent to me to be put on by a professional, the professional told me it wasnt needed.  If you have any concerns, please contact me immediately." 

Severa months, and thousands of dollars later, if I had only known this was gonna be a horrible experience I would've never trusted Dennis with my Marauder. I am coming into contact (trying to get things finished on my car with local Marauder and HP workers) with people who have nothing good to say about their personal experience and people they know of, experience, with Dennis Reinhart. All of our stories have something in common.

This is not a review to stop this business from making money, this is a review to let consumers know the truth before dealing with this business. I have experienced everything bad with this company from unfinished work, bad parts, miscommunication, paying for unexpected things like getting my car back thinking it was completed, going out of town and my car completely shuts down on a rural highway and waiting to pay for a tow and ride to the nearest airport (plus same day airfare) to get home. Continue to do research on this company before trusting Dennis Reinhart Automotive in Orange Park, FL.

This customer agreed to Arbitrate this through the BBB and it was. I made evey attempt to work with this customer, and it was marked as resolved to the agreement of both parties and was marked resolved by the BBB.

I have a A- minus with the BBB.
