Last year at work this same company called claiming, "That they were coming to arrest me because I had taken out a loan with Cash Advance and had not paid it back."  They had all of my personal information including S.S. number.  The person told me that the only way I wouldn't be arrested was to give them my bank account number which I wasn't going to do.  I hung up and the persistant man with a thick Indian Voice called back.  We started arguing and at the end of the c.  onversation he actually said, "May Allah bless you."

This morning at home, I started receiving Out of Area calls every 5 minutes.  I wasn't answering but finally became annoyed.  Mr. John Larson, with a thick Indian accent, said he was with the Department of Law and Investigation.  I asked for a phone number and he said the he couldn't give me one.  He asked me to verify all of my personal information and I refused.  (I wasn't worried because this information is available online through companies like 1-800-detective.)  So he started with the same threats.  The best part was when he told me that I could not interrupt him.  So I listened and told him I never took out a payday loan with that company and if I was being sued they could serve me papers at my house since they had my address.  He kept screaming at me and saying "Listen to me."

I informed Mr. Larson that his company was all over the internet as a scam and I was going to report his to the Attorney General.  He began screaming at me and I hung up.  The persistant little bug, called me again once again screaming.  I decided to use his tactics and screamed back.  Once again saying they were a fraud, etc.  He said, "You have committed a serious crime."  I said, "Give me the case number."  He started rambling off numbers.  I asked him what state he was calling from.  He stated yelling.  I said, "If I have committed a serious crime there must be a warrant out for my arrest and since he had my address he could send the police."  Then I said, "But I bet I know how we can resolve this...you want my bank account number so you can illegally remove money from my account."  He started yelling at me again and said I didn't understand.  I yelled back that I was calling the police and the State Attorney General's Office and hung up.

He called again, but I didn't answer.  I woke up my daughter with the yelling and am typing this so I guess I didn't commit a serious crime.  However, these people must be stopped.  I wish I knew how to find them and take them to court for harrassment.  I can only imagine how many people this company has intimitated.  Their behavior is unacceptable and they are the people who are breaking the law.
