I received a phone call for my husband this afternoon at around 4pm from a man named, "Officer Samuel" with a heavy Indian accent. He was calling from the Department of Law and Investigation regarding a loan that was taken out for $100 from cashnetmarketing.com back in 2008.

He said that this was a payday advance loan that my husband never paid back. He asked if I would like to "take care of this" now or find a lawyer to go to court. He needed an answer by this coming Tuesday or it would go to court.

He said that the Dept of Law and Investigation was a county department not federal or state. He said that my husband went on the internet and put in personal information to apply for a loan, but he couldn't give me the account number for the loan. He said,"This information is not given to the people who are calling."

I asked him for a phone number to call him back at. He gave me (201) 710-7086; however, my caller id said, "Unknown Name 305-212-5453." I called the second number back but it was disconnected.

This sounds very sketchy to me because I know that my husband would not give out personal identity information. He's the one who teaches me about it! Plus I googled the name, and all these ripoff reports popped up from this website. I'm not sure if I should cancel all of our banking accounts, charge accounts, etc. He didn't tell me what they were, so I'm not sure if he has them. He did ask for my full name which I did not give. He read me my address in the beginning to be able to send the afidavit or whatever it was.
