Complaint Review: Department Of Mediation And Resolutions

I got a call from this facility stating that I owed americash and that if I didn't pay they were going to file charges. I started paying and got the bill down to 381.00. I missed a couple of payments and a Mr. Lowery started to call. On 08-11-06 I was to make a 200.00 payment and didn't only because my cash station card wouldn't work, this man called the person who was my reference and told her to tell me that I didn't have to call him because he was going to come up to my job and embarrass me, then on Monday the 14th he started calling me and harrassing me at work, he called someplace that I didn't work saying he was the cook county sherriffs office and he had a warrant on me for writing bad checks. I called to speak to a supervisor whom for that matter sounded just like him and he of course tried to defend him. I finally went to see a lawyer to file bankruptcy just to get these people off of me. I faxed them a letter stating they are not to call me at work or home and any further correspondence to contact my lawyer and what do they do, of course call me, I didn't even answer the phone and have yet to check my message.
