DAS is on e-bay telling you to be careful about being ripped off by companys claiming to be shippers when they are really BROKERS. But that is just what they are.

i bought a car on e-bay and contacted DAS about shipping it. they told me that if i wanted it shipped door it would cost me more money, Isaid ok and paid it.them they said if i wanted it shipped in one of THEIR enclosed trailers it would cost more i said ok and payed it. Well guess what? I got neither my car was not shipped by das THEY BROKERED it out to another company who delivered it in an open straight truck with a broken brake line and the shifter all jamed up. all attempts to call them and email them went unanswered. and then the driver had the nerve to ask me for a tip. I paid 1755 dollars to ship a car from michagan to mass. which was about 1000 dollars more than other companys but DAS gaurenteed me that i would get what i wanted. well the only thing i got was ripped off . Once they have your money it is all over.

I hope this letter stops people from falling for their lies and underhanded business practices. we are not the only ones to be ripped off by these crooks, check out transporter reviews for many many more.

The best thing for the public is if these people go out of business...

"Lorne" has been telling his story on every complaint site he can find. Unfortunately, the information he provides is so vague and incomplete, that we (DAS) cannot even research his move. It is our belief that "Lorne" is perhaps a competitor posting complaints simply to try to help his own business. Especially since so much of what he says is inconsistent with our business model. It is our hope that most readers are savvy enough to understand that someone who hides behind anonyminity should probably not be listened to with too much weight.
