On, Monday, August 10, 2009, i sent a certified check for the amount of $1055 through overnight express mail service through the USPS for expedited/preferential service which would have guaranteed delivery service by Thursday, August 20, 2009 which the service was not held up to the contract. Everyday i check the tracking on the DAS website for updated information. At which the vehicle was picked up at Boca Raton Florida on Tuesday, August 11, 2009. On Friday, August 14th, 2009, the vehicle was moved to different cities in Georgia and was dropped off in Morrow, Ga, and was never moved again at the time.

By Sunday, August 16th, 2009, the website and the automated system at 800-826-1083, stated that the vehicle will be delivered by Tuesday, August 25th, 2009, which is 5 days over he ETA date of Thursday, August 20,2009, causing a breach of contract. Also the automated service said a apology for the delayed service. On Monday, On August 17th, i called the customer department and they kept trying to assure me that my vehicle would still arrive by the 20th, even though the ETA had been changed. On Tuesday, i called and spoke with Hermando at extension 1410, and he stated to me that there was no driver going to Illinois and that he was sorry and he would talk to his manager so that i can get a full of $1055 since  it was DAS fault. He also was very apologetic about the situation. I did not hear back from him. So i called customer service and spoke with Doris and she also stated that there was no updated information and that there was still no driver to bring the vehicle to Illinois. So at that time,  i stated to her that i would fly and come to get the vehicle. At that time, she stated to me that i would not get all my money back. I would only get $560 back. They will charge me for the drop off in Morrow, Ga. I knew that wasn't fair causing a breach of contract for expedited service and extra expenses. So now i had to to Morrow, Ga to pick up my truck. And spend extra money.

Also on that same, Tuesday, August 18th, Doris, asked me for my mailing address and stated that she would put my refund check in the mail. Every since that day, i have been looking for my refund everyday, and it never came. On Monday, August 24th, i called customer service and i got to speak back to Doris. I asked her about my refund check and she then advised me that it would take 4-6 weeks for me to receive my refund. I said to her that she did not say that to me on August 18th and that it did not take that long for me to send the money to them for my shipping. She gave me the manager extension, Johnny Bennett at ext. 5037 and she stated that i could reach him by calling, 800-826-1083 and leave a message because he had gone for the day. That is totally unfair practice and poor customer service on their part. I should not have to wait that long for my money.

I have total expenses of: A certified check of $1055 that was sent overnight by USPS express mail service for expedited service of 9 days or less that i did not receive, My airplane expense cost of $540 for me and my sister to go the Morrow, Ga to bring the vehicle back, The cab ride of $37 from Atlanta Ga, airport to Morrow, Ga. My gas expenses of $250 for 12 hours of driving the vehicle from Morrow, Ga to Chicago Illinois for 12 hours and about 765 miles. And the eating expense of $175 to keep my energy and health up. The vehicle had 42193 miles on it when i first got inside to drive it and when i arrive to Chicago,Illinois, it had 42958 miles on it. The total expenses was $2057. It caused me a  lot of headaches and heartaches and energy. I have also filed a complaint against Dependable Auto Shippers, Inc in Mesquite, Tx with the Better Business Bureau on Monday, August 24, 2009.
