This place is shady, at least that's how the guard company "Rent A Guard" makes it appear.

We drive all the way to this place thanks to a Living Social deal only to be greeted by probably some of the worst customer service I've dealt with in a long time. I'm usually a low key guy, but these rent a cops that were working there all have some major authority complexes.

First they literally frisk you in such a manner that would make TSA agents blush, then one of their guards steps on my foot, reacting to the pain, I push the guy (gently) off my foot and ask him to watch his feet. Suddenly I'm the bad guy and start getting this a*****e treatment from one of the other rent a cops who starts this whole (I wish I was a real cop so bad, but I'm not, so I'm gonna take it out on you) speech making me feel like I'm some troublemaker who had a little too much to drink. All the while I'm thinking, this was supposed to be a fun evening out, why do I have some a*****e rent a cop making me look like an a*s in front of everyone in line, just because one of his guys stepped on my foot. I can understand if I cussed out the guard or made a scene, but I didn't, in fact, most people had no idea what was going on since everything was so low key.

I ended up telling the rental cop, (Sammy) or something like that, how am I supposed to enjoy a show now, after his attitude and treatment, especially in front of everybody. He started going off on me about how he doesn't care, and I can leave because "they filter" who goes there. I said, no problem, my group and I will leave.

It's a shame they don't 'filter' who works there, since we definitely won't be visiting them, thanks to their treatment and attitude.

Supposedly they have a 'strict no refund policy,' but I'm sure that policy doesn't cover being assholes to customers while not allowing them to enter. The rental cop even had the nerve to state that my flip flops were against their policy (which is nowhere on their website or anywhere else in visible format) which completely didn't make sense since just about everyone else was wearing the same thing since it's like 90-100 degrees outside.

I worked as a bouncer, but I never was an a*****e to anyone, even if they deserved it, because in the end, it looks bad on the place you're working for. Lesson to be learned from all this, be careful who you hire to do security. They can make you look really bad and ruin your business.
