Complaint Review: Derek Bohlken

On 9/26/13, I received the following email from Mr. Bohlken:

I need paypal funds desperately. I have a restricted paypal account and all I am able to do with paypal is receive and send funds. I can't use my bank account, cc or moneypak. I am looking for people who can help me get funds in there because I use paypal a lot and it's basically crippling my business. So what I am offering is 10 percent per day interest on what should be just a couple of days. If after the weekend my account is still restricted, I would get the funds to you another way (moneygram, check, payza, etc.) but by then you would have earned 40 to 50 percent return on your money. 

After a few emails back and forth, I felt comfortable sending Mr. Bohlken the funds he needed....I had seen his solicitation emails for the past few years and knew how to find him. I sent him the funds....then, nothing. Many excuses for being unable to repay me became the norm....

Now....in October or 2014, after many, many promises to pay me back, in many different forms, I have yet to receive a single penny back from him. '

My next step is to go to the Overland Park, Kansas authorities, as well as the FTC, and see if they are interested in helping me....

Please....if you're considering doing any form of business with this person, reconsider.....he is a very strong talker, and has shown his true nature in this transaction.
