On August 4, 2018, I ordered a trial face cream and eye cream (thought it was free except for the shipping). I was charged shipping of $4.95 for one item and $4.94 for the other, even though they arrived in same box. Without notice or permission, I was then charged $89.93 onAugust 29,2018; $88.76 on September 3, 2018; and $94.87 on September 15. I received no further products until September 21, 2018, when I received the face cream only, which I was not expecting. Upon inquiry, I found out this company had charged my credit card all of these charges for an absolute rubbish product. When I spoke to a representative, she said I didn’t cancel within 17 days of ordering the free trial. This is nonsense because it took more than 17 days for the products even to arrive. She then tried to get me to keep the face cream product by offering me a 75% discount. (I had already thrown away the "free trial” products because they were horrid.) I absolutely refused and said I was going to file a dispute with the fraud department of my bank. At that point, she agreed to refund my monies stating it would take 10 business days for the refunds to show up. I will never, ever order any free trial again. It seems it is a method unscrupulous firms use to get your credit card information and keep charging and charging without informing you that such charges will be made.
