My autistic daughter came to me after being separated from me at the Del Amo Mall and told me that she had been approached and pressured by a salesgirl at Dermalactives to buy almost $500 worth of elastin & collagen skincare that she does not need at 18 years of age. My daughter, being autistic, does not possess the faculties or emotional maturity to withstand such unnecessary sales pressure, therefore, she spent almost $500 of her financial aid money for college on Dermalactive skincare. When I immediately requested a refund for her with her credit card, I was given the distributor's phone number and called him.

The Dermalactives distributor refused to refund my autistic daughter’s money. I am disgusted by his greed, lack of ethics and a conscience. Below is my daughter's complaint:

I was approached in Del Amo Mall by a Dermalactives sales girl. I felt very pressured and uncomfortable but since I have always had trouble saying no to people I impulsively agreed to pay the ridiculous price of $473. I now realize what a mistake that was considering I am only a freshman in college who doesn't work and has to rely on financial aid. It was only after they tried to push a &750 under eye collagen product on me that I desperately begged them to stop. I have always been taken advantage of like this. People know I'm an easy target and I have trouble thinking things through. I feel like these girls and this company have deeply wronged/scammed me.
