Complaint Review: Dermanique

 I ordered a dual offer of Dermanique & Lumera anti-aging solution on 5-14-14 for a trial and payment of shipping only - $4.95 & $3.95.  I received both and were charged $4.95 & $4.95.  I never opened the boxes, as I decided not to try them.  My next credit card statement contained charges of $97.88 & $87.67 respectively.  I called my credit card company and disputed the charges.  I called both Dermanique & Lumera and was offered a refund by Lumera, but was told by Dermanique that it was after the 30 days and I couldn't have a refund.  These companies are in the same building, yet I was told they are not related (Dermanique) & that they were sister companies (Lumera). 

The webpage has nothing about being charged after 14 days; nor does it say this signs me up for monthly charges.  I should have taken a clue from my credit card company when they called after the shipping charges to see if they were mine or if I was being scammed.

I now must call my credit card company again to stay on line while they try to get in touch with these companies to request refunds.  Oh, and by the way, the hold is 15-20 minutes before talking with anyone.  I will return Lumera, but am not sure what to do with Dermanique.

If it seems too good to be true, then it probably is!
