I saw an advertisement on Facebook for Dermessence Anti-Aging Cream.  It was for a 14 day trial, nothing more. I was required to pay shipping/handling only.  I ordered the product but, before doing so, it automatically pulled up a second product that I did not want. 

When my Anti-Aging Cream was delivered I also receive the product I did not want, Beauty Radiant Skincare's Anti-Aging Serum.  After my husband received our credit card bill it showed that I had actually been billed shipping for both products. 

I was in no hurry to try these products as I had already been charged and my understnding was that I had paid in full. 

On the 15th or 16th day after ordering the product, my credit card was charged again, this time for $94.95.  I immediately tracked down a phone number and called the company to see what the malfunction was.  They said that this was payment was due to them since I had not cancelled my account or returned the product.  They also said my next shipment would be sent soon.

I had to literally argue with the gentleman on the phone to cancel my account.  I had to even threaten to get an attorney involved and to post on every form of social media that this was a scam.  It was only at that point that he agreed to cancel my account, apologizing to me that he was only doing his job and that he heard this type of complaint "all day". 

I cannot speak for the product itself because I still have not used it.  My complaint is with the idea the company gives you that you only pay shipping/handling to "try" the product.  To me that means if I like it, I can order it again at regular price, NOT that it would be automatically shipped to me every 30 days.  I would never agree to this and it was not understood by me that this is what I agreed to.

This is a very sneaky way to get your product-wanted or not-into the homes of consumers like me.  Thank you for time and consideration in this matter.
