Derrick Mcdonald owner of Express PCS (Personal Communication System) had been hounding me to lend him some money to open a 2nd Kiosk in Austin, TX.
He had promised me part ownership for lending him them money but when we met he changed it to a salary for managing the location. He finally agreed to salary plus a percentage of the total sales commissions.
I lent him the money that he used for the deposit/ rent on the cart at Barton Creek Mall. I had him sign a handwritten receipt before turning the money over.
He then wanted me to train at his South Park Mall location to learn the Helio system. I told him I need the contract signed that stated what we agreed on.
1. Well he showed up to the mall on Thursday but left when we got busy without going over any paperwork. I went in on Friday but still no Derrick.
2. I called Derrick find out what was going on but he did not want to talk about the contract. I informed him that I would not continue the training without a contract in place because I did not work for free.
3. He said the contract did him no good and that I only wanted it because it protected me.
4. After several more conversations I told him I wanted out of the deal and to just give me my money back because he had made me feel very uncomfortable.
He told me that he would give me my money because it was chump change to him and he probably had that much in his wallet. He called me back about an hour later this time apologetic and telling me how much he needed me to run the store.
(When I talked to former employees he had at the South Park Location I was made aware that they quite because he had not paid them what he promised them then to make matters worse he bought himself a Mercedes Benz. When they questioned him he told them the owner gets paid first.)
5. When I called him to get my money he became irate telling me he was not a bank and he was not giving me anything. I stood firm and insisted he return my money immediately, he responded by calling me a MF and hung up on me.
6. I have continued calling, text messaging and emailing him with no response.
It has been 2 months and nothing. I cannot take such a big monetary blow. Now I cannot open a business because he has basically stolen my capital.
I have come to find out that he has done this before. He left his partner hi and dry in a mall in South Texas. He cannot sell Tmobile or Sprint because of fraud issues.
I was reading his flyer and it states Dealerships Available.
SO BEWARE OF DEALING WITH DERRICK MCDONALD, ANYONE REPRESENTING HIM OR ANYTHINNG ASSOCIATED WITH HIM.

He has been shut down once again (trend sound familiar). He could lie all he wants but the truth comes out in the end.
Once again what was the reason? You get 1 guess.
Also, ask Frank how he feels about the situation now.
Anyone thinking of lending him anything or partnering with him BEWARE!!!! You have been warned.

This employee (Amador Benavidez)whom quit his last job telecomarama for being lazy and worth nothing came to me after he had no job and said can I get a salary $2500 plus $20 an activation if I invest. I said yes you can but first you must work at thr kiosk. He informed me that he was the manager of the best Telecomarama store and that he can definitely handle the pace. Well I was a bit worried at first because he is about 425 lbs. That cant breath good kind of fat. Furthermore, we had an opportunity in Austin with a great mall. SO he rode with me with excitement in the air to go pay the deposit and rent for the store. The cost was $7000 and he paid $3500.
The next day he went to work at the SouthPark mall and within the hour the manger of the Store (Frank Bamford) 210-885-6082 sent him home. In fact the same employee whom he had abused (Jason Ely) at telecomarama laughed and mocked him for his poor work ethic as he waddled out the door. The following day he began to ask about doing paperwork for paying him $2500 a month and $20 and I said you didn't make it at the kiosk for one day.
You need to go back and learn how to sell this product at the kiosk and I will sign your deal. He refused saying that he didn't have to prove anything to me (while breathing very hard). His total committment was 10K of which he only gave $3500 and then proceeded to basically walk out on the opportunity. We opened up Austin without him and closed it down in two days because of labor issues. We lost as a company at least 10K and who can we go get our money back from?
This deal broke down because he like most people want something for nothing. Also he mentioned something about Tmobile and Sprint fraud issues, well I am the owner stupid. I didn't personally commit the fraud it was employees like Amador wanting something for nothing. What he didn't say was that we as company sold 20K devices last year with two million in sales. He is just bitter because he didn't have the hustle to make it happen.
My charge is don't fault someone else for your own laziness! He is a quitter! MR QUITTER! What come to a QUITTER? SO if you are reading think what if he didn't quit?
