Complaint Review: Design International Group Inc.

Design International Group, Inc. Intuit has been holding on to $100,000 of our client's money and refuses to release to either us or our client!!! City of Industry California

On April 7, 2020, a client placed an order for which we requested a down payment of $100,000.  Our client understood the need for a down payment (we needed the money to place an order with our supplier) and had no problem making the down payment on the same day.  Intuit placed a hold on releasing the down payment to us, basically saying that they were trying to prevent us from scamming our customer.  They have been holding on to the money for over 20 days already, refusing not only to release to us or refund our customer. 

They asked for an unbelievably detailed amount of information on the order (manufacturer, test reports, purchase orders, SIX MONTHS OF BANK STATEMENTS) and even contacted our customer to verify.  After all this, they're requiring that we show proof of delivery in order for Intuit to pay us.  That's not their money!   We have since cancelled the order, the customer is extremely unhappy at us, and still Intuit refuses to refund the money to our customer!
