I purchased Design savers plan. I was told one thing, and it turned out to be another. Not my complaint. Maybe this will be a complaint for another report.

I canceled November 1st. My agent turned the information into corporate on November 11th. I thought something was not right come December 1st. I called DSP and was passed around to many customer service agents. None had the answer but "knew" the department that would be of help. Between each time I was passed on, there would be a 9 minute wait. When I found someone who was helpful, he informed me that the paperwork was not even submitted to accounting yet, and that he would do so. He did.

I called again on December 15th and wondered what was the problem, the CS people said it was still in process, and that it was out of their control.

I called up again December 28th. I was told that my check should be ready to cut in a week.

I call January 2nd, they have a new policy. You cannot receive your refund unless you return your member card. hmm.. So I destroyed my card for security purposes. That is what I was instructed to do.

So I called in yesterday, the 15th of December, and the guy was somewhat helpful. He informed me that I could fax them a letter that said something about the situation, and maybe management would override the whole "card" for refund thing. The CS rep actually waited on the phone for the fax to come in. I did not trust him, and had him read me out the letter. No refund yet.

Mind you that each time I called I was passed through a long list of CS reps, until I was weeded to someone competent. The last time I called I gathered the name of the competent person. I should have done that after the first time calling. eh, I never claimed to be a genius. I did buy into this card, and still believe I can get a refund.
