Like recent reports, I also decided to support the young salesman who appeared at my door today. I decided to purchase the "Sports Package" for 1 year.

I found the young man's story convincing and felt sympathetic to his plight. I did not really need the magazines, nor want them at all.

After reading several accounts of others on this site with similar experiences, I managed to put a stop payment on the check as well as completely shut down the account. I followed the instructions on the receipt and scanned in the receipt and emailed it to the company the same day I ordered the items.

The entire process gives you such a small window to cancel. If you do not email the scanned receipt, the cancellation needs to be sent in the mail within three business days including saturday from the sales date.

I do feel bad for the salesman as he is on the bad end of this -- he *seemed* very genuine, but I feel better knowing my money is not being wasted on a fraudulent company.

I saw and read your rebuttal to the above and appreciate your willingness to refund her money.  Please provide and email address I can use to contact you so that I can obtain a refun for magazines purchased but not received more than 5 months ago.  Thank you

HELLO,

I READ THE ABOVE STATEMENT AND THOUGHT THAT WAS UNFAIR FOR HER TO CLOSE HER ACCOUNT AND ALL I GUESS SHE DID NOT FEEL AT EASE WITH THIS I RECEIVED A EMAIL FROM HER LAST WEEK AND SENT HER ONE RIGHT BACK STATING I WOULD SEND HER THE CHECK BACK SHE DID NOT HAVE TO DO ALL THAT I HAVE NEVER HEARD BACK FROM HER. FROM THE THE OTHER TWO COMPLAINTS IT JUST REALLY MAKES OUR COMPANY LOOK TERRIBLE AND WE ARE NOT. ALL WE ARE DO IS SIMPLY WORKING TO GET AHEAD IN LIFE THE CORRECT WAY. I UNDERSTAND THIS WEBSITE IS FOR CONSUMERS TO POST INFORMATION ETC BUT THE THREE OF THEM ARE FALSE WE HAVE NOT JUST TAKEN ANY MONEY AND IGNORED OR MOVED TOWN AND THATS WHAT MOST COMPANIES DO WE HAVE NOT AND ARE NOT. I DO SINCERELY UNDERSTAND PEOPLE NOW OF DAYS ARE SCARED AND SKEPTICAL BUT THE EASIEST WAY TO NOT BE INVOLVED IS JUST TO SAY NO AT THE DOORS. AS A BUSINESS OWNER THE CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT EVEN WHEN THEY ARE WRONG WHICH I THINK IS ALSO UNFAIR FOR US WE HAVE NO COMPLAINTS FROM A YEAR AGO FROM JANUARY, FEBRUARY, MARCH , APRIL. WE ARE JUST STARTING TO GET THEM BUT THEIR NOT FROM NOT RECEIVING A ORDER WHICH IS MOST PEOPLES PROBLEM FROM OTHER COMPANIES. I JUST FEEL THAT YES THE CUSTOMER HAS THE RIGHT TO BE SKEPTICAL, HOWEVER ALOT OF COMPANIES SHOULD BELISTED THEN NOT JUST DOOR TO DOOR SALES THEIR IS BAD COPS GOOD COPS, THIER IS GOOD PEOPLE BAD PEOPLE, THEIR IS BAD LANDLORDS GOOD LANDLORDS. ALL WE ARE ASKING IS TO GIVE US A CHANCE AND NOT PREJUDGE US AND ONCE AGAIN IF YOU FEEL LEARY TELL THE SALE PERSON RIGHT THEN AND THIER NO! THANKS EVERYONE HAVE A BLESSED DAY
