BE AWARE OF DMITRY S. OF DEVCELL.COM, AN INDEPENDENT WEB SOFTWARE DEVELOPER. HE WILL RIP YOU OFF.
Dmitry S. is the owner of Devcell.com and is an independent software developer who live and works in Russia. He started developing software for me through a freelance Project Manager who lives in New Jersey (I will identify him later if the need be).
I have a written and signed contract and NDA for the work that I requested done. I have paid for 80% of the project and now that we have gotten close to completing certain parts of the development, Dmitry has decided he is going to resell the source code because he is greedy and thinks that the work is worth more than the agreed amount in the the contract.
I had agreed to negotiate certain terms however Dmitry has decided he does not have to go this route and would prefer to go rouge and insist he his reselling the technology. I have two emails from him to prove he made these comments.
Now, I don't even want to negotiate with him because even if I do pay him more, he can not be trusted.
Dmitry is willing to throw away his integrity as a developer and choose to take some fast money because he thinks he can get away with it because he lives in Russia.
Not only do I want to keep Dmitry S. from Devcell.com from reselling my technology, I want to warn others seeking web software development services to be aware that if Dmitry S. will do this to me and get away with it, he will do it again.
