I was told about Dex last year and what a great job they did for the individual. I looked into advertising with them only to find that they have changed hands and now ripping customers off.

I had a situation where my website was being hacked several times a day. I had an issue with and ex. employee who went from stalker to hacker to terrorist. She was hacking my website so much that I had no visual presents on the internet for months. I asked Dex to freeze my advertising until I could get this issue resolved.

Currently, I'm working with law enforcement agencies and educating them on this person's hacking ability. My site was being hacked every 2 to 4 seconds and going down on a regular basis. Most companies that you are doing business with want to help or accommodate with some good customer service but not Dex. I suppose they are financially hurting and wanting to take advantage of their customer's.

When I called in to notify Dex in May and June of 2007 they told me they could help. They would work with me on this situation. To date, they are still billing me for the monthly charges and advertising my site even though I have asked them not to. They said because the phone number and items are listed correctly that they will continue to bill me even though on my side my site is down.

Now I'm faced with a issue and having to spend my time and money to fix my business reputation due to their unwillingness to work with me. Anyone wanting to advertise with this company beware. It's about the money and not customer service that this company is all about. If you can avoid it go to a company that believes in establishing long term relationships with their clients. Good luck.
