If you ever have a bad feeling about a company, trust your instincts.  I started working with Jason, Amanda and Jen a while back and after meeting with them I knew that something was amiss but I couldn't figure out what it was.  Then I started overhearing stories about past employees and why people were planning on leaving.

A couple of the stories were the basic -- I'm too lazy to show up to work every day b.s. But others centered around them not paying people for weeks, wrongfully catagorizing employees as independent contractors, withholding money that people had earned etc.

The first 4 weeks I went without pay which they said was normal but in hindsight is absurd, and once my paychecks did start coming in I realized that they weren't matching up to what I sold.  Now because the job is 100% commission and has zero benefits I kept very detailed records of what I sold and when.  After confronting both Amanda and Jason they sat me down to explain that even if I DO sell something there's a high chance that I might not get paid or that it might get "clawed back" later on.  This was disturbing to me, not only for the obvious reasons of potentially going broke but also because it was never fully explained to me from the beginning.

I then started to look up the history of Credico U.S.A. (the 'broker') and "DFW Consultants" -- which is Jason Ward's company, whereas Transcend International is Amanda Bush's company.  The Internet is a very funny thing because with very little effort and basic social media skills you can find a lot of information about your employers.  What I found was that both Jason and Amanda were not only linked to companies in Connecticut that now seize to exist, but that some of the pictures they were using on their current website have employees that never worked for DFW and they've probably never lived in Boston... creepy.  See below.

You get the point.

What you can expect from dfwconsultantsinc.com is the following: you will not make nearly enough money to survive, there have never been and will never be any benefits, this has been going on for over decade and the majority of these "managers" don't have many options left so they will do whatever it takes to keep new people with little experience coming through the door, and you will technically be an independent contractor/I-9 but that's more for their benefit then for yours because you will not have any of the pros of being an independent contractor (making your own hours, finding your own leads, working whenever you feel like it, etc.)

Bottom Line: Do your research and don't be fooled.  If something sounds too good to be true it is.  There's a reason why both Jason and Amanda still go into the field and its not because they're financially stable its because they have no other options.
