I purchased a pair of Beats headphones for my son on DHgate.com I was disappointed because it took a month in a half to arrive when they told me it would arrive in a week .they gave me a tracking number with all zero digits and two numbers at the end. I tracked the order but DHgate told me the tracking number was invalid even though that's the one they gave me. When the headphones finally arrived they came in a very strange packaging it was heavily wrapped in yellow duct tape the box had Chinese shipping labels all over it and only one DHL label on top and there was a big label on the side that said "INSPECTED BY U.S CUSTOMS" the shipping report was not understandable it was all written in Chinese .It was very difficult to open the packaging it seemed that beneath the duct tape there was some sort of vinyl wrap which was very difficult to open. I had to use heavy duty scissors to open every thing the headphone box was even covered in bubble wrap it took me 30 minutes to open everything even the headphone box.

When I opened the headphone box the contents were out of place almost like if the box had been tumbled a lot the headphones were not damaged they were in side a black carrying case .when I gave them to my son he complained that the sound was to cracky he also said that the right side was louder than the left side. an hour later the left side had no sound. I contacted DHgate and they said to return the item for a refund but when I tried to return them U.S Customs had intercepted the return they told me I had to pay a fine of $357 for attempting to ship counterfeit items I told the officers I purchased the item on the Internet and I was trying to return it. I contacted DHgate again and they said that if customs did not allow the item to come out of the country that there is nothing they can do. I told customs to contact DHgate the officers said that DHgate had changed their contact info so pretty much I got screwed. I had to pay $112.45 for counterfeit headphones plus a $357 fine for shipping counterfeit merchandise in all of that situation I paid $463 and I never received my $112 .I guarantee I will never ever ever ever buy anything from DHgate EVER AGAIN!!!!!
