DHL , DHL express,DHL international sent a box of chocolates to south america for valentines day its 2/23/2016 and its still at the DHL processing center there!!! plantation Florida

on 2/11/2016 i spoke with a DHL sales rep of the name of tyler  freedman  his work number is  (866)272-2983  extension 46125  he sold me on the idea that a package with a box of chocolates, some chocolate bunnys, pair of chopsticks, and a postcard, from california to buenos aires , argentina, would be a door to door service, and it would cost me  $114.59  with a 20% discount,  i filled out the forms and proper shipping codes with him over the phone, and  he assured me all the fee,s and tax,s would be covered under the price! and again began to reassure me on door to door service, the only time they would subcontract out to another service would be if that certain country was totally isolated!  not the case here,  so i sent the package to a local postal annex  store on 2/11/2016   10:16am the package was scheduled to arrive at the apartment complex in argentina, on that following monday, Well to try to make the long story short, as i write this today! its 2/23/2016  and the package is still at the DHL processing center in argentina!  keep in mind its mid summer out there, with over 80%  humidity!! my valentine suprise gift is melting away!!  as i write this,,i called yesterday and spoke with Aaron jones  "team lead" 1(800) 229-0328 extension 53143 mgmt of customer service, she said she would open a case, heard nothing today????  AJ wardes head of cust service was suppossed to call me?  no show!!!!  DHL  charged me !  $ 138  and i got a voicemail today from angel of DHL, that the person who i sent the package to in argentina,  "reciever" needs to fill out tax and customs forms to release the package with melted chocolates, from the DHL processing center in buenos aires?? and on top of this whole mess!!  i owe them taxes of $26.11   for the package???  which tyler forgot to include in the price! before quoting me the final overall price!!!  what a lack of service, and incompetence that i have not seen in quite some time! from a company of this magnitude! people please!!! oh please!!!  do not ship with this substandard company!!!! use  UPS, Fed ex, local postal!!!  etc,,,,,,but dont choose DHL,  they are total scam artists!!!!  if i sent the package USPS  it would have gotten there around the same time and for over half the price!!!  and with less  political corporate!  BS!!!!!!   since today  i have closed my checking acct, and opened a claim with VISA, and my current credit union!  if anybody has any similiar situations with DHL, or any other conpanys! please email me here on rippoffreport.com  i am always happy to hear from you and exchange stories! and look for possible other better alternatives to this mess!  thankyou for your time!!!  one less DHL customer!
