Complaint Review: Dial Corp.

I am pasting what I sent to them cia their website below. They have not responded to 2 inquiries I have sent them since June 2004. Besides that, when i attempt to use their "contact" form now, it does not work, after you fill it out entirely and submit it says "page cannot be displayed". I tried various ways to see if anything worked and the only thing which worked was leaving the for blank and submitting it, then it says "thank you. Pretty ironic huh? Not only did I have a problem with their product but their customer service is horrible. So beware of using ANY of their many products including soaps, renuzit air fresheners, Purex detergent, and Armor canned meats. Good Luck contacting them should a problem arise. See below:

This is an outrage, I resent this inquiry below to you on 11/20/04. It was originally sent in June. You still have made no attempt to respond or resolve this issue. Luckily I save copies for my records, This is my 3rd inquiry in 6 months!! Isn't it about time you responded? Please see what I have pasted below:
I originally sent this inquiry to you on July 29, 2004. I find it appalling that you have made no effort to resolve this situation and did not even offer me an apology a refund or an explanation. I have been very busy and have not had the time to follow up on this until now. Thankfully, I save copies of all my correspondence and I still have the copy of the inquiry with the original date. I have copied and pasted it below. I am resending it to you one more time in the hopes that somebody over there cares enough about their consumers to take action on this matter. Since this incident I have not bought any of your products nor will I do so in the futur if a helpful and courteous response is not received shortly. I am not a sputeful or vindictive person but if you choose to ignore me as you have already done so for the past 4 MONTHS, I will have no choice but to take whatever further actions are necessary to make this matter known to the public and any agencies attached to or governing you. Thank you for your time, I hope this was just something mistakenly overlooked on your part, please see original inquiry dated Thursday July 29.2004 below:

Right now I am even more unhappy then I was before I wrote to you and I didn't think it could get any worse. After spending 30 minutes carefully typing an inquiry to you on your contact form, I reached a "page cannot be displayed". But what else could I expect from DIAL after my already horrendous experience. Luckily I was smart enough to copy the contecnt of my inquiry into my computer before trying to submit it to you, since I had a feeling that something would probably go wrong. It always seems like a website is working fine until a consumer wants to send a complaint, then suddenly"page cannot be displayed". How ironic. Anyway if ound this alternate email address on your site, please pass on the complaint below to the appropriate person. If this letter is sent back to me with no resolution or response, I definitly plan to contact the BBB about the lack of customer service skills and the struggle it is taking for me to contact you with this matter. RE: Dial Spring Water antibacterial body wash
I recently bought a bottle of this body wash and I am very unhappy with the results. First off, let me say that I do not have sensitive skin nor am i allergic to anything that I know of. I usually use Dove or Irish Spring soap and I expirement with new soaps and body washes occasionally. This new one of yours sounded pleasing so I decided to give it a try. The first night after I used it, I had broken out in small pimples all over my chest and my arms and my back and around my neck. At first I had no idea what it was and some friends said maybe I had heat rash (which I never had before). I figured that was what it was and I continued using the body wash for about 2 weeks. I had this disgusting rash for those 2 weeks and it did not improve, if anything it spread even more. So, I determined that this could not be heat rash since I ad no reason to have heat rash, I wear loose clothing and am almost always indoors in the air conditioning not sweating.

I figured maybe it was the body wash so I stopped using it. About 2 days later, my skin cleared up completely, it was amazing and hard to believe, but it was back to normal. I went back to using my regular soaps. That is, until a few days ago. Two days ago, I don;t know what I was thinking, but I wanted to give the body wash one more try. i just couldn;t believe that it could actually be the cause of the pimply rash and I was taking a shower and since I still had 1/3 of the bottle left I decided to use it again. The next day I got the little pimples all over again. I am so disgusted by this and I just cannot believe that an "antibacterial" body wash would cause my skin to erupt in disgusting little pimples and rashes. So here I am now feeling disgusting and full of little pimples and I just had to write to you about this. AT least now I am certain that this body wash is the cause of this nightmare.

I also want you to know the embarassment that this has caused me. The first time it happened, I had to wear clothing that covered my arms and my entire neck for weeks since I was so embarassed to be seen in public with this rash all over. It seriously conflicted with my lifestyle and with the things I wanted to do. I couldn't go to the beach or to the pool since I would not be seen n public looking like that. I did not feel attractive around my husband and it seriously dampened my mood and made me feel disgusting. As for this second time, I blame myself since I should have learned my lesson the first time and not used it again. So, hopefully this will go away soon now since I do have weekend plans and as of today, I will not be seen in public in any summer type clothes which will reveal this rash. I expect that you will offer me a refund but I would just like for you to know that a refund in no way makes up for the embarassment, disgust and huiliation that I have gone through because of the rash caused by this product.

I do not know what you put in there or whether or not it was tested on humans and if so, if you found results such as in my case. I cannot imagaine that I am the only one whom this happened to, since like I said earlier, I do not have sensitive skin and i have NEVER had an experience like this before. Just please try to put yourself in my shoes and imagine having little white and red pimples covering so much of your body that you cannot even wear a tank top, a t-shirt, a bathing suit, or any type of shirt that has a v-neck or any low neckline or open back. Imagine having to stay covered up out of embarassment and not even feeling attractive to your spouse. Imagine the effect this has on a person, and then you will know how I feel.

I'm not sure why I bothered writing this letter to you or what I expect from you in return but I wanted you to know about this. This is the worst experience I have ever had with a skin care product. I will await your prompt response which hopefully offers some kind of resolution, apology and explanation to this matter. I was planning on spreading the word about this product on message boards and other sites where consumers rate/review products and warn other consumers about my experience, but I figured I would write to you first and see what your response to the issue is.
