Having taken out comprehensive cover I elected to pay by monthly premium of 53.18.  Having paid 2 months I sold the car, informed dial direct and have been charged an additional 200+ to cancel the insurance.  Apparently this is quite legal as it is in the small print of their terms and conditions.   I urge anyone thinking of using this company to double check the terms and conditions and unless there are compelling reasons to use Dial Direct (I can't think of any!) to go elsewhere.
