I bought jewelry from Diamond Depot Direct and paid $50 to receive grading reports on the jewelry that I bought indicating their worth. These reports were not genuine at all, and the jewelry was not worth half of what they indicated. I called to at least get my $50 for the grading reports back. The customer service was terrible and I asked for a phone call back regarding my refund. They were going to refund my money, but I did not receive a phone call or an address to send the reports back to. On bid4assets.com I gave the company average ratings and below is what had followed:

DDD:
Why the nasty feedback??? You said you loved the product over the phone. We also went ahead and refunded you the $50.00 when you obviously never sent back the reports. So this was obviously intentional. We will be filing a chargeback tomorrow with our Paypal manager for our $50.00.
Thank you

Me:
I never said that I loved the products. They are not worth what they said they were by a long shot and they are just ok. Also, I never received a phone call back regarding the reports. I'm grateful regarding receiving $50 back, even though it should included the 7.75% tax that I spend on the reports. I'm very happy sending those back. Also the feedback was not nasty. I was not satisfied with the product that I received, but I did put average. Please let me know where I should send the reports to, and I'm more than happy to send them back!

DDD:
The reports should have been sent back immediately. What were you expecting for $40.00 per product. Lets be realistic here. You need to get to a store and look at prices and then make up your own mind. We sell our products for barely cost and list items simply for advertisement. If we depended on auctions we would have been out of business along time ago. This was obviously a gimmick to get your $50. This rotten feedback in which we have gotten 5 stars across the board for the past year is undeserved, You can keep the reports until we filed the chargeback. By the way taxes were not charged on your $50.00 or the buyers fees. they never are
Thank you

Me:
Actually the taxes were included for the price of the reports if you take a look at the break down, and as I said I was told that I was going to receive a call back, which I never received. And the average stars are suitable. I would have been happy with the products if I would have received legit grade reports for them, which I definitely did not. And I put that the products were average, which means the products weren't bad and the were great.average! And again give me the address to send the reports back, they don't do me any good. How am I supposed to know where to send the reports to???? An address and a phone call would have been nice as I told that I would receive and never did!

DDD:
A chargeback will be filed today, we will not accept the reports back at this time. You were told that they needed to be sent back, obviously they were not. The items were exactly as described contrary to your opinion.
As far as we are concerned this matter is closed.
Thank you

Me:
How could I have sent them back if there was not address given to me to send them back to????? Also, I was told I would receive a phone call, and that never happened either. Also, why don't you leave a name for me or are you to embarrassed because of your horrible customer service? That's fine the matter may be closed on your end, but it won't be on my end. With these lovely emails you sent me, I can post them on the internet, so when anyone does a search for Diamond Depot Direct or DDD, they will see just how lovely your customer service is, and that if you give Average ratings then they go back on their word.
And Thank You.and good luck!

DDD:
Your pockets are not deep enough - so obviously you expect $1000 items at an expenditure of under $80. Too funny. As for the threats - that's another story - do as you like - just think before you act.
Have a Nice Day

I see what your talking about...over-inflated wholesale and retail values...for example a parcel of opaque to semi-translucent rubies with a wholesale around 4000.00 and a retail of around 8000.00...what a joke!!! They go on to say "TRUE VALUE" which is a lie. They also rate the quality at AAA which doesnt tell us anything. Anyone would be wise to avoid this scammer at all costs. He gives us in the jewelry industry a horrible name!!
