Diamond Gate Financial Group KAT Capital RIPPED ME OFF!!!! Took my money and did nothing! I can no longer contact them! BEWARE!!! Lake Forest California

About a year ago, I received a card in the mail with a toll free number on how this company could restructure my mortgage and reduce my interest rate to as low as 2% to 4%.  This picqued my interest so I called them.  I spoke to their rep who, when I told them who my mortgage was through, advised me to skip one payment on both my first and second mortgage.  I was concerned but he said that was the only way this bank would even consider a loan modifcation.  After discussing this with my wife, I decided to go ahead and do it. 

They charged me $1,990.00 to do this process (unbeknowst to me at the time, I could have done this all for free through my bank).  They then sent me all the paperwork via e-mail and I then filled it out and sent them everything they asked for.  So far so good, or so I thought. 

After working with them for about a month, they asked for more information, which I sent them.  Another month went by and nothing had happened, even though I was in contact with them.  I decided to contact them again, via e-mail and phone, leaving messages.  After about 3 weeks, their number was no longer in service.  I couldn't get a hold of them and they were not responding to e-mails or anything.  As of the date of the posting of this report, the number on their website still doesn't work and they still aren't responding to e-mails. 

Basically, they ripped me off for $1,990.00 and they damaged my credit.
