Complaint Review: Diamond Masonry

 Clayton A Banks, DBA Diamond Masonry LLC, of Morrison, Colorado was contracted to build a patio at my residence in Pine, Colorado.  Another company was contracted to do the excavation and the "flatwork" (concrete forms and slab) before the actual patio was started. The actual project was started on or about September 10th, 2018 and consisted of a "stepped" concrete block wall approx 4' tall and 24' long. That wall was completed on 09/14/2018.

 It was on this day that I mentioned to Clayton Banks that perhaps the work would go faster if he were on the job site before 11:00 AM. He responded that he did not report nor work for me. He stated he was an "independent contractor" and set his own times and days. I responded that as long as I was paying for this project, he did, indeed, work for me.

  With that, Clayton said, "Screw you, I don't have to take any of your crap, I'm out of here". And with that, He packed up his work trailer and cement mixer and departed the job site.

   He also filed a police report with the Sheriff's office stating that I was aggressive towards him and I carried a gun. I do sometimes carry a gun (mountain lions and bears), but NOT on that day!

   He still owes me about $5,000.00 and I found this person at "Home Advisor and Angie's List"
