I bought a BMW 325i from a guy named Johnpaul there. He promised the world, and everything was fine until I went to sell the vehicle 1 year later and it is a LEMON!

They are so slimmy they never even answered my calls after the first time I got through to them to question what was the matter. Now they screen the calls and say I got what I paid for and they gave me a great price so shut up and go away.

I would stay so far away from them!!! Now I have a 325i that I thought was worth $25k (blue book is $30k) and I can't even get another DEALER to give me $10k for it because of the bad title.

I'm so serious! STAY AWAY! They also promised me a second set of keys that they woudl mail to me, but those never came and when I called them about that the first month, they then said that I needed to go to BMW to get a set on my own (at $200). No biggy paying it, but they commited to it.

Good experience with Diamond Re-Marketing

#2Consumer Comment

I have purchased 2 vehicles with Diamond, once in 2003 & one just recent. The first was a lease return (verified through Carfax) the 2nd is a classified 'lemon or buyback' however you wish to categorize. This also verified through Carfax. Both the salesman & owner fully disclosed to me that the car was a buyback in California & provided me details of what the issue was. Prior to completing the purchase they also provided me with a written disclosure. The car was serviced by a local dealership & there were no issues found(if there were issues they would also have reported them via Carfax). I took a further step & called the dealership they car originally came from in Calif & talked to the service manager there, who was familiar with the car as he stated: "it was one of the sales managers cars". He further stated: "I worked on that car & it was basically a sensor that kept coming on & it was repaired...there was nothing else wrong with the car", but the sales manager leveraged the "lemon law" because he wanted a newer one.

As a consumer I did my homework & being I had prior dealings with Diamond purchased my car with no hesitancy. The owner of Diamond also let me drive this car for over 2 weeks (to make sure I liked the car) while he tried to get me the best possible financing, never cashing my down payment until the financing went through. They gave me a car for almost 2 weeks with no strings. It ended up where I returned that car (only because it was an 8 cyl & the gas mileage wasn't great, with the long drive I have to work) and chose another 5 series (same buyback issue), with absolutely NO questions asked. There's no way any other dealership would do that.

I've been in the credit card business for almost 30 years, & have dealt with unsatisfied customers for one reason or another, & have learned if you are reasonable there are always ways to mitigate a negative situation. I just wanted someone to know that there are those of us who have had a good experience at Diamond & would buy from them again.
