We're fairly happy timeshare owners with another company and had thought it was a wise decision to add another after hearing their pitch. They claimed to have the soloutions for what our current membership was lacking. What a load of BS! I should of known that it was too good to be true. 

The salesperson flat out lied to us. I have made many complaints with no avail! It seems DRI and their staff are not held accountable for anything! So Disappointing!

I have owned with DRI, and been making rediculous payments for the last 2.5 years but, have NEVER been able to use it. There is no re-sale, no buy-back, I cannot even GIVE it back. I fear I'm making payments FOREVER for something that's unusable. 

I've attended other presentations during our holidays using our other TS, and our familie's. They didn't even want anything to do with DRI but, were willing to take our other membership off our hands.

I made a call to Diamond and spoke to a representative in the financial services department to get an update on the status of my account to see if my account has been closed. I was informed, yet again, that the account is still going through the cancellation process and has not been completed. I then ask the representative if there is anything that I can do to speed up the foreclosure process. I like to ask that to see if the representative will give options but I was informed that there is nothing I can do to speed up the closure of the account.

Steve G. I am also a DRI owner, but not by choice. My timeshare in Sedona, AZ was bought by DRI, then my maintenence fees were jacked way up & continue to rise. I can't find you in the directory though. I'd love to be a part of a lawsuit against DRI. They are crooks & liars.

we have had ours about 3 years.never been able to book anything.all about pay pay pay. fun no. i will not pay any more on this.is it true that diamonds are forever or can you help us.we were riped off in arizona.

lawsuit against DRI

I am an attorney in Arizona and currently represent a client regarding very high fees and assessments, along with other alleged complaints against DRI, including misrepresentation in the sale of timeshares, levying special assessments without justification, levying special assessments without an appropriate meeting and vote of the Board,  limiting membership on the Board to DRI employees and people biased in favor of DRI, and use of the points system to limit owners' access to inferior properties, while reserving superior properties for rental to non-owner third parties.

I firmly believe that something must be done to prevent timeshare companies from arbitrarily levying assessments and increasing membership fees, while eroding owner's access to superior properties and to allow owners to recoup these fees and assessments and to rescind onerous and illusory lifetime contracts that will continue to burden their heirs.  I am looking for witnesses willing to tell their timeshare stories and am curious as to whether you would be interested.
