Diamond Resorts International Huge rip-off Don't buy Las Vegas Nevada
We purchased 7500 from Sunterra Resorts, unfortunately Diamond Resorts purchased this timeshare. We went to a sales pitch and ended up purchasing 7500 points with the knowledge this would be a huge benefit for us. It is not. We have a hard time getting reservations for a lot of the properties. We have attended a few sales meetings to see what is new and everytime I let them know I am not going to purchase anymore points. After they get frustrated with this fact both times the sales person got up and walked away treating us like yesterday's garbage.
I want to give half my points to my son and when I called to see how we do this I was told I have one contract and could not split it. I beg to defer I purchased the points in 2 different contracts in 2 different years. When I asked for more detail as to why I can not have half the rude person treated me like a child and said because that is the way it is and if I wanted to talk to someone else they can tell me the same thing.
I would not recommend this place to anyone. I would not buy a roll of toilet paper from them. It is a true scam.
