We own a time share with Diamond Resort .  We are having a hard time using our 9000 points a year and the yearly fee of about  $1300   is  more than we can afford now.  So while we were in Branson in July we visited with a salesman named Taylor Pettet.  He sold us more points that would make us own 15,000 points. With a annual fee of $2349.50.
This would be redicolous for us to do this BUT  he said if we pay the fee of $12,660 that day  we would up grade  to SILVER and we could pay our annual  fee with 7500 of our points.  We would still have to pay $40 every year.  When we went back in Aug and visited with Taylor he said the fee would be about $400.  We could still handle that.  BUT when I called today I was told --my 7500 points were only worth $300 on my annual assessment fee.  I would still owe$2000 and have only 7500 points.  I was better off before we talked to Taylor.  I had 9000 points and my annual fees were about $1300 and I was $10,000 richer.  This is absolutely dishonest, and amounts to nothing  more than Bait and Switch tactics.  I would like my $12,660 back and go back to my original status with my time Share. We spent the $12,600  because they told us that the plan we had could not be discontinued  and  that our estate would be responsible even if none of our heirs  wanted to continue the Time Share ownership.  We did not want to leave such a problem to our children.  By going to SILVER we could use points in lieu of cash  to pay for the annual fee. And it would still leave us the points we use now.

We hope you can help us and do something to help other folks like us from being defrauded.
