Diamond Van Line Adam Dahan Moving Scam, $8500 binding estimate, price moved to $13,500 after the load was on the truck. Many items damaged or missing will not return call Interne
Adam came to my house to provide an estimate on moving from CA to PA. The binding estimate was $8500. On moving day the "company" Diamond Van lines came with a Budget Van, not the 53 ft trailer we were expecting. I was told the other van broke down. The next day a second Budget van showed up and when it was full I was told they were done. My home still had iems to be moved.
When I called Adam Dahan in San Diego I was told the quote was NOT binding and the cost was $15,000, with my goods in his possesion I had few options. I negotiated that down to $13,000.
When the items arrived in PA they had been tossed around, about 50% of the containers showed damage. My damages were over $3000, I paid an additional $5000 and paid to have items they did not take for $5400. I have pictures of the damage, the very old National van lines trailer, items saying fragile upside down in the trailer. Adam will not return my calls and the phone machine is full.

Adam Dahan called me today and says he would like to resolve this issue and his lack of response was due to Jewish holidays. I am providing details of my loss in writing. I will update this report as it is resolved. Mark
