Complaint Review: Diamond Vanline-Adam Dahan

Today My husband and I were visited by a man named Adam Dahan he came to our home to give us a quote on what it would cost for there company to move us to another State,As we were finishing He asked If we would like to leave a deposit of 150.00 to hold a space on the truck,My husband wrote him a check,about 15 minutes had passed and another moving company called and asked If we had found a company to move our stuff,I replied yes,Then she asked If I minded telling her who I hired,

I replied Diamond Van line,She asked who I spoke with, And before I could get his name from my mouth,She asked was It Adam Dahan And I replied yes,Then she sent me to this website,I then tried to call the number He had left us with no reply,Needless to say,We stopped payment on the check as quickly as we could,The woman told us that no one should be asked to leave a deposit to hold a space in there trucks,Well Iv'e decided also not to hire there Company,Because It just seemed like She also was trying to get us to hire her Company,Are there any real honest people in this world to whom the public can depend upon,If anyone know's PLEASE tell us.
