Complaint Review: Dietz Motorcraft

Robert Dietz "auto concierge" which is an easy hands off approch to get out of being accontable for mis represented vehicles.

sold me a $100,000 German sports car which in his ad stated car was restored, but did not disclose the prior damage

done to the front end nor the fenders that had been completely replaced. There was also an issue of the vin stamp which looked to have been copied and

original treated with acid, I was suspicious only because I had found a line in the car service history where it said COPY VIN# He is very good at deflecting

factual issues we found on the vehicle and claims prior ad said "restored hotrod", the ad which I bought the car from said nothing about any prior damage. 

Robert is very slick and comes off as such a lovely guy until you confront him with something that might cost him money. He in no way

seemed to want to make good, but instead tried to kick the ball to the original seller who I had no luck with. Both claimed they knew

nothing about the damage which is a complete lie. Stay away from this guy, he has a high profile on most of the high end collector car websites.
