My son Brad died at a swift terminal in Lancaster Texas feb 10, 2012. I (his father) filed a claim for burial bebefits . His benefits did not go into effect untill march 1st. I filed with the industrial commision and was quickly denied the burial beefit. well his ME report said he died of a bloodclot to his heart. I just filed for a hearing and i intend to let everyone know that this company would not do the right thing. You can see more at truckersforum/brads story. Brad was 23 years old and worked hard for digby and this is what they did for him.

"Digby southwest" affiliated partner withs swift transportation LLC phoenix az. has long had a reputation as one of THE most dishonest employers in arizona. They force their drivers to operate illegal via means of pushing a guilt trip. Its is my belief that i would investigate the death of your son as a POSSIBLE wrongful death. i am NOT a legal adviser and i do not give legal advice as i am NOT qualified to do so. there are known issues with many of "DSW" vehicles that may have caused your sons death.

Did Swift buy Digby out?From what I gather they did,it's getting harder and harder to tell who has the #1 spot as the worst trucking company in America,but they are neck and neck with a couple of others.Also if Swift did buy Digby that would mean that Digby is now being run like Swift,these people are as dishonest as the day is long I wouldn't expect to much.
