Complaint Review: Digilake.com

Purportedly an electronics retailer offering significant discounts over other similar online outlets. I attempted to make a purchase from this site the other day, and was offered an additional 10% discount if I completed a survey during checkout.

I opted to do so, and the survery opened in another browser window. It was quite a long survey, at least 10 pages long, which seemed to repeat questions from page to page. When I was finished, I returned to the original site and tried to apply the promised discount, only to be presented with an error page directing me to email their orders department.

I have sent two emails so far since attempting the purchase, none of which has been acknowledged or answered. Submitting help requests through their online contact form has produced the same non-result. Meanwhile, the amount of spam coming through to my email address has increased dramatically from that day forward. I am not sure if purchases can actually be made on the site, but I'm done experimenting, as I feel I have already been "pharmed".

Somebody take these bXXXXXXX down.
