I was unlocking my car door at Circuit City when this white suburban pulled up next to me and told me that he had some speakers that he was trying to get rid of for a good price. I normally don't talk to strangers but he was really nice and friendly and just wanted me to take a look. I looked at the specs on the box and he gave me the same speal as everyone else has mentioned - I told him that i only had $50 and started to walk off when he asked for $80 and I told him that I would have to go to an ATM - he even helped me find a Bank of America down the street and we exchanged in the bank parking lot. He loaded the speaker in my car the.

Anyway I got home and hooked it up and it works but about every hour it cuts out and squeels really bad until you turn off the receiver and then it works again when you turn it back on for about another hour. It does sound good and in the end at least it was only $80 and it makes a beautiful table end!

But anyway - if anyone has speaker knowledge and could tell me what causes it to swueel and shut off all the speakers - and in the end will this f**ck up my receiver??Please post here on this site below so others will know, with any information on how to fix this problem.

Dogg Digital was a knock-off

Kelly,

I found a website from the company my speakers came from. My speakers are Digital Audio which is different from Dogg Digital Audio. I called their company and they swore that they were on the up and up and that Dogg Digital was a knock-off of their product. I have yet to have any issues with these speakers but I do believe that like Dogg Digital they overprice on the box and have people sell these products in an unethical matter presumably because the product is junk.

The two guys I dealt with both had dark hair and were late 20's early 30's. The driver tried to sell for $500 and I promptly said no and got back in my car and the passenger was willing to drop and I was okay with $200. They were very shady and so I got the passengers name, Fern (made-up?), his drivers license and cell phone number.

The first sign of problems I have, I will be calling back the company and Fern and making a decision to file charges against these guys.
