I had a bad experience with a consumer electronic's company, Digital Delivered (aka Red Tag Savings or Trusted Dealer, Inc). I understand that others have reported this problem as well.

I ordered a product; they called me the next day to tell me my credit card didn't go thru; they tried to upsell me; I accepted to add an extra battery to the digital cam I had just ordered; thought I was happy with the order; received the dig cam but with the wrong battery; returned battery; over the course of 6 weeks and at least a dozen calls, never received the replacement battery and my credit card was never credited. I had remained nice and patient on every phone call (mind you, never receiving a return phone call from managers even though I was promised).

On the last call, I told them I wasn't happy with service, hadn't received battery, hadn't received credit for the battery I returned and was going to return the camera (in addition to the battery I had already returned) and request a full refund. The man lost it --- screamed into the phone, used a long list of profanity, called me names, threatened that he would notify my credit card company to NOT credit and then hung up.

I immediately called Amex and issued a dispute. I received the credit for the battery, but the whole experience was distasteful and unnecessary. These guys should not be in business with consumers.
